Barbie and Ken meet the big screen, Indiana Jones returns, and Spider-Man continues his adventures across the Spider-Verse.
Greetings, readers! Welcome back to a new week of amazing trailer goodness in today’s Trailer Tuesday. This week’s trailer total is a lucky number seven, featuring a handful of sneaks peeks at some of the summer’s biggest films.
First up, Academy Award nominees Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling transform into the iconic dolls Barbie and Ken in Academy Award nominated director Greta Gerwig’s comedy Barbie. Academy Award winner Joaquin Phoenix goes on a crazy, surrealist journey back home for his mother’s funeral in Ari Aster’s black comedy horror film Beau is Afraid. Academy Award nominee Harrison Ford dons the iconic fedora for one last wild ride as the legendary Indiana Jones in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. Gerard Butler must find his way out of hostile Afghanistan territory after an intelligence leak exposes his identity in Kandahar. In Illumination’s Migration, a family of ducks who manage to convince their over-protective dad to go on the vacation of a lifetime. Peter Pan, Tinker Bell and the Darling children set out for more Neverland adventures in David Lowery’s Peter Pan & Wendy. And lastly, Miles Morales slips into his Spidey suit for more crime-fighting escapades in Sony’s animated sequel Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
