Flash, Transformers, Wish & More
Flash gets a little nuts with Batman, the Autobots team up with a whole need breed of Transformers, and a young princess seeks help from a wishing star.
Good morning, readers! Welcome back to this week’s Trailer Tuesday. This week’s selection of movie trailer goodness is a packed one with eight new trailers providing sneak peeks at some of the year’s biggest films.
First up, Ezra Miller’s Flash teams up with Academy Award nominee Michael Keaton’s Batman and Sasha Calle’s Supergirl to save the world in DC Studios’s The Flash. In A Haunting in Venice, Academy Award winner Kenneth Branagh returns as world-renowned detective Hercule Poirot to solve a new murder committed at a seance. The Hunger Games returns and goes back to show us the villainous President Snow’s origins as a mentor for the annual Hunger Games in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. In Love Again, two strangers become intertwined through a series of romantic text messages. Academy Award nominee Michael Fassbender finds himself sent to American Samoa to turn their weak national team into a legit championship contender in Academy Award winner Taika Waititi’s Next Goal Wins. In Robots, two suburbanites, living in an era where humanity coexists with robotic servants, use their android doubles to date each other, only to have that plan backfire on them when the robots steal their identities and go on the run. The battle between the Autobots and Decepticons is greeted by a new beast-like race of Transformers in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. And lastly, a teenage princess makes a wish to the stars to help save her kingdom from a coming darkness in Disney’s new animated musical Wish.
